Merge branch 'jk/tighten-alloc' into maint
Protect our code from over-eager compilers. * jk/tighten-alloc: inline xalloc_flex() into FLEXPTR_ALLOC_MEM avoid pointer arithmetic involving NULL in FLEX_ALLOC_MEM
