Merge branch 'jn/makefile'

* jn/makefile:
  Makefile: consolidate .FORCE-* targets
  Makefile: learn to generate listings for targets requiring special flags
  Makefile: use target-specific variable to pass flags to cc
  Makefile: regenerate assembler listings when asked
