Merge branch 'jl/diff-submodule-ignore'
* jl/diff-submodule-ignore: Teach diff --submodule that modified submodule directory is dirty git diff: Don't test submodule dirtiness with --ignore-submodules Make ce_uptodate() trustworthy again
