Merge branch 'nd/grep-true-path' into maint
"git grep -e pattern <tree>" asked the attribute system to read "<tree>:.gitattributes" file in the working tree, which was nonsense. * nd/grep-true-path: grep: stop looking at random places for .gitattributes
