git-commit-vandalism/alloc.c
Linus Torvalds 100c5f3b0b Clean up object creation to use more common code
This replaces the fairly odd "created_object()" function that did _most_
of the object setup with a more complete "create_object()" function that
also has a more natural calling convention.

* The standard malloc/free wastes too much space for objects, partly because
* it maintains all the allocation infrastructure (which isn't needed, since
* we never free an object descriptor anyway), but even more because it ends
* up with maximal alignment because it doesn't know what the object alignment
* for the new allocation is.
